What is Sangha with Sawrah?
Sangha with Sawrah, is a private, invite only community, guided and hosted by Sawrah on the heartbeat.chat platform.
When you study with Sawrah through one of her offerings (private session, class, workshop, online course, circles), you will be invited into this community through an email and link.
Sangha means community in Sanskrit and is a part of the yogic tradition. Circling in this way is a part of many wisdom traditions across lineages. We’ve brought into present time by bring it online, so you can join no matter where in the world you find yourself.
Why was this sangha created?
Conscious technology and digital hygiene are one of the guiding values of all offerings here. It’s important for us to offer (as much as is possible), a distraction free learning environment.
We also wanted someplace more private than social media to offer group connection for our classes, circles, and courses. Being on a simple, clean, mostly distraction free platform allows greater connection and engagement with learning.
Most of all, we want you all to be able to connect to your small learning groups, to share, offer encouragement, and share experiences in a safe place. Connection and shared experiences are a huge part of learning and self-development. We hope this space enhances that.
What’s in the sangha (community)?
You’ll find all of your purchased courses and workshops in the community along with a weekly insight reading, book recommendations, journal prompts, and a paid subscription blog.
If you join one of our live circles or courses, your optional private connection group is also hosted in the sangha. Your private groups are only accessible to you and those going through the live course or circle with you.
How much does this cost?
The community itself is free to join, but can only be joined by private invitation. You receive an invitation when you study with Sawrah in one of her offerings.
Extra subscription and membership options are available within the community, but those are all optional add-ons to the free community. You choose your level of engagement and what is right for you.
What is heartbeat.chat?
Heartbeat.chat is the hosting platform used for Sangha with Sawrah. It is essentially the software or warehouse for the content and private groups.
Once you create a login through the invitation link, you will have access to your purchases, courses, associated groups, and the community aspects.
This platform can be used through a downloadable mobile app or in your browser. There are more features available in the browser version, but the app is great for on the go connection and listening on the go.
It is strongly recommended to adjust your notification settings to what is right for you at the outset. We support strong digital hygiene.
